    Description

    Offering up a nice solid silver teapot.  It measures approximately 7.75 inches tall by 7.75 inches wide at it maximum dimensions.  Stands on circular base.  The marks are a bit rubbed and a little hard to decipher but it was clearly made in the Austrian Empire in the city Vienna. The item is made of 13 loth silver (81.25% silver).  The makers mark is CR in a shield which corresponds to the maker Carl Raab.  The date appears to be 1839, see photos.  It is made of solid silver less the hardwood handle.  Condition is very good for an item this age. Total weight is 492 grams.
