    This is a modern Proof Print of the
    .00 Silver Certificate
    of Deposit from the
    Republic of Hawaii
    . (Issue of 1895) The original certificates were printed in the 1890's and these are made from the exact same steel engraved plate from the ABNC archive, and in the same colors.
    Being proofs, they have no serial number and only the face is printed.
    This Intaglio print was made in 1981 and there is a certification on the back signed by the Senior Vice President of American Bank Note Company.
