    FOUR 1/9 PLATE DAGUERREOTYPES, IN SCARCE UNION CASE "A FAMILY PARTY" BY CRITCHLOW.
    This is a group of four 1/9 plate daguerreotypes of what is likely father, mother, child, and grandmother. Overall condition is good; the image of the woman holding a book has some very light scratches. All images are in matching mats and preservers and are in a scarce thermoplastic case entitled "A Family Party," made by A. P. Critchlow and Company, 4-5/8" X 3".
