6pc 1889 Antique Classic Gorham Sterling Silver Tea Coffee Kettle Set

Presented is a fabulous Gorham sterling silver 6 piece tea set, dated 1889. The pieces are all done in a handsome classical style, with a ribbed design on the lids and lower portions of the bodies. Each piece has a monogram of W in elegant script on one side. The pieces are all clean and ready for use, polished to a bright mirror shine on the exterior and spotless on the interior.
The set consists of:
Kettle on stand--12 3/4 inches tall on stand, 8 7/8 inches tall without stand. Capacity of 7 cups (56 fluid ounces/1.7 liters)
Teapot--5 1/4 inches tall. Capacity of 4 1/2 cups (36 fluid ounces/1.1 liters)
Coffee pot-- 7 7/8 inches tall. Capacity of 5 1/4 cups (42 fluid ounces/1.2 liters)
Sugar bowl--8 inches from handle to handle, 4 3/4 inches tall.
Creamer--3 3/8 inches tall.
Waste bowl--5 inches in diameter, 2 1/2 inches tall.
Each piece is stamped on the underside with the Gorham maker's mark as well as sterling and a date symbol of Queen Victoria's head for 1889.
This set is in great condition. There are no splits, no leaks, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The total weight for the set is 4034 grams or 142.3 regular ounces.
