    Description

Very nice Adams Westlake railroad lantern from the Chicago, Milwaukee, and St. Paul RR.
    Globe is marked CM&St PRy.
Tall glass globe, almost 6 inches tall, great red color, typical edge along the top and bottom of globe.
Globe overall is excellent, couple of flea bites in body of globe, I had to search to find them.
They do not distract from this rare globe. Maker mark of globe is shown in photo #6, appears to be a nx inside a large C which would indicate this is a Corning made globe.
Lantern body has lost most of its nickel plating.
This lantern features the brass vent top, which was suppose to last longer than the tin ones.
Vent top does not adjust, probably with some oiling it could be freed up.
Wick feeds upward but does not return easily, the wick holder is somewhat deformed.
Wick feed wheel is marked E. Miller & Co. Made in the USA.
Patent date on vent is May 28th, 1895.
Pictures are part of the description.
