Adams & Westlake L&N RR Adlake 250 Kero Lantern
An Adlake 250 Kero lamp of the L&N Railroad. Solid lamp with all welds intact and no movement that shouldn’t be happening. Other than average wear from use and patina of age its a solid lantern. The clear globe is intact with the L&N RR logo, without any breaks or cracks just soot from use as we did not clean it. The bail is good.
The crown of the ventilator is embossed “THE ADAMS WESTLAKE CO. NEW-YORK-CHICAGO-ELKHART ADLAKE No 250 KERO” SOUTHERN RY and the outside circumference of the ventilator shield is embossed “PATD U.S. NOV.28-1911 APR.1-1913-MAY 9-1922-CANADA.1921.1923.PATS.PENDING”. The bottom of the lantern features a stamped floral motif.
