This listing is for a lovely vintage Alvin Sterling Silver 5-piece coffee/tea set in the CHASED ROMANTIQUE pattern, c. 1930's.
This beautiful set features a classic shaped body with an engraved design on the handle and a decorative engraved band that encircles each piece at the shoulder area. No monograms. Marked "Alvin, Sterling" with the appropriate model number for each piece.
The set consists of:
1.  Coffee Pot #S101 (2 3/4 Pints) - Measures 11" high, 9" wide with a 4" diameter base. Weighs 795 grams.
2. Tea Pot #S102 (2 5/8 Pints) - Measures 9 3/4" high, 9 1/2" wide with a 4" diameter base. Weighs 755 grams.
3.  Waste (Spooner) #S105 -  Measures 4 1/4" high with a 3 1/2" diameter top and a 2 5/8" diameter base. Weighs 190 grams.
4.  Creamer #S104 (3/4 Pint) - Measures 6 1/2" high, 5 1/8" wide with a 2 5/8" diameter base. Weighs 265 grams.
5.  Lidded Sugar #S103 - Measures 6 3/4" high, 7" wide with a 3" base. Weighs 420 grams.
Combined weight of set is 2425 grams.
The set is in excellent Estate condition reflecting only minimal signs of normal wear and age. The silver polishes nicely with no noted worn areas.
PLEASE NOTE: WE HAVE THE MATCHING 22 1/4" ALVIN SILVER PLATE TRAY THAT WAS PURCHASED WITH THIS SET. THE TRAY HAS SOME DAMAGE/WEAR TO THE SILVER ON THE TOP (SEE PHOTOS) AND NEEDS TO BE RE-SILVERED.
