This is a magnificent 19 century Sterling Silver 6 piece coffee and tea service made by Ball, Black & Co. in New York,
c.1851-1876
.
Six pieces including hot water urn on stand, coffee pot, teapot, creamer, sugar and waste bowl. Each finely decorated with a repousse scene of houses in a pastoral landscape, within a border of decorative banding, including ribbon and foliage, the handles with Assyrian Revival terminals of female busts, the covers with pinecone or sphinx finial, the hot water urn featuring a cast Classical figure on the spout.
