    Description

    Presented is a fabulous quality American sterling silver chocolate pot or demitasse pot. This pot was made by Bigelow, Kennard & Co and dates to about 1890-1910. The pot is done in a lovely classical side handled style, with swirled ribbing on the sides. The pot has its original handle, which is nicely made from rich dark wood. The pot has a long, graceful spout. The interior of the pot is clean as can be and completely ready for use.
    The pot is in great overall condition. There are a few minor dings here and there, but nothing significant. The hinge of the lid is in great condition. There are no splits, no leaks, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
    The pot is stamped on the underside with the maker's mark for Bigelow, Kennard & Co as well as sterling.
    The pot stands about 7 3/4 inches tall.
    The pot weighs 414 grams or 14.6 regular ounces.
