    Description

Presented is a fine English sterling silver coffee pot with an elegant carved wood handle and finial. This teapot was made for Tiffany & Co. and probably retailed in their London store. The teapot is monogrammed GNL on the side. The teapot is in a classical style, a copy of an early Georgian piece which was first produced in the 1720s.
The coffee pot is hallmarked on the underside with the lion passant for sterling silver, the leopard’s head for London, the date letter “e” for 1920, and a maker’s mark of C & R C for Charles & Richard Comyns. It is stamped Made in England for Tiffany & Co for the retailer.
The condition is excellent. The coffee pot is very clean on the interior and ready to use. The handle is tight to the body. There are a few small dings here and there, but this is minor, undoubtedly a number of small dents have probably been removed over the years from the body. There are no dents, no splits, no breaks, and no other repairs.
The coffee pot is 8 inches wide from handle to spout and 8 1/2 inches tall.
The weight is 675 grams or 23.7 ounces.
