A rare and gorgeous Armand Gross sterling silver teapot, late 19th century, Paris, France. With a sinuous shape and art nouveau style elements, including cat tails. It is stamped on the bottom with the makers mark and on the lid with the head of Minerva and a "1", denoting .950 fine silver content (higher than sterling, which is .925). The teapot is 9 1/2" high by 8 1/2" wide, handle to spout, by 5" deep. It weighs approx. 675 grams. It is monogrammed on both sides. Guaranteed to be as described.
