Antique Chinese Carved Jade and Etched Brass Lidded Trinket Box

Description

Antique Chinese Etched Brass Trinket Box with Decorative Hand Carved Jade Insert on Lid. The box is wood lined and etched overall with floral and geometric designs, notably bamboo leaves and stalks on the sides and a chrysanthemum flower with leaves on the inside lid. The brass has a lovely patina of age. The hinges are intact and work perfectly. This is a beautiful and useful small trinket box for a vanity or desk. Measurements: 4" x 3.25" x 1.5" deep. Weight 12 oz. The mark on the bottom is indecipherable.
