Antique Chinese enamel and gilding box.

Description

Antique Chinese bronze box measuring 4 5/8 by 3 3/8 by 1 7/8 inches. Decorated with natural stone appliqué combined with wood carving (top part of the lid). Part of the stone application is lost, which can be seen in the photo.
The side faces of the box and the inside of the lid are decorated with enamel in the form of a flower pattern (good condition). The inside of the box is covered with gilding on which there are traces.
On the bottom of the box there is an inscription "China" which indicates the place of production. The style and typeface of the inscription suggests the age of the box is 1920-1940.
