Chinese handmade silk / embroidered baby / child shoes
from estate of missionaries who were in China during 1920'sai
1 pair silk shoes with embroidered eyes and mouth and threads for whiskers, - been packed for many years
never worn, the shoes have been tied together with embroidery thread since they were made
lining is a pale plaid design which is loose on one side, if you push the fabric up  you can see Chinese writing
on the other fabric
almost 6" long
what looks like a small mark on side of one shoe is really a hole
100 years old   so some little marks just from being stored
all shoes from this collection are authentic / old    no reproductions
