A beautiful blue underglaze decorated ribbed porcelain box, possibly used to store fruits or nuts, or possibly as a cosmetic jar.
Presumably Antique Chinese dating to the Ming dynasty.

Very good condition with no detectable repairs. Two chips on rim of base as well as foot.  Exhibits signs of age such as surface wear and weathering. As they are part of the description, please enlarge all photographs to better ascertain details and condition.
