A fine antique 3 piece sterling silver tea service. The teapot, retailed by Carrington & Co, 130 Regent St. W. and with very worn (illegible) hallmarks on the side. It also has a very worn armorial. The creamer, with London hallmarks for 1895 and the maker is William Hutton & Sons. The sugar bowl has London hallmarks for 1890 with the maker is Carrington & Co. It is also stamped Carrington & Co, London, 130 Regent St. on the bottom. The sugar bowl has the same armorial as the teapot. The set weighs a total of approx. 525 grams. The teapot is approx. 5 1/2" high by 9" wide (handle to spout) and 3 1/2" deep. The sugar bowl is 2 5/8" high (to the top of the bowl part) by 5 3/4" wide (handle to handle) by 2 3/4" deep. The creamer is 2 3/4" high by 1 3/4" deep by 4" wide, handle to spout. All in very good condition. There is a small dent to the sugar bowl on the bottom and a couple of minor dings to the teapot. This is a cute, small set, perfect for one or two people. Guaranteed to be as described.
