    his handsome sterling silver coffee pot is beautifully crafted in a baluster shape with motifs of large leaves and berries in relief. The knob on the lid is in the shape of a flower. The coffee pot stands on three feet and has a wooden handle. It is monogrammed with the initials “
    F.D.
    ”. Both the lid and the pot bear the French “
    Minerve
    Premier
    Titre
    ” hallmark, indicating the highest quality of French sterling silver (950/1000), used in Paris since 1838. The

    is the guarantee that the sterling is at least 95% silver.  The lid and the pot also bear the maker's mark consisting of the name “
    Veyrat
    ” and two stars.
