Description

Antique 5 piece tea / coffee service by Gorham in their elegant Plymouth pattern.   In addition to the Gorham hallmarks, each piece is also marked "Galt & Bro.", the renowned luxury jewelry and specialty goods retailer in Washington, DC established in 1802.   Total weight is approximately 1,650 grams with individual weights shown above.  Specifications are as follows:

Condition notes:  We polished the creamer and waste bowl and they cleaned up very nicely with some light tarnish remaining.  The other pieces all show light to moderate tarnish with pitting and/or spotting noted.  The finials on the tea pot, coffee pot and sugar all show wear in the form of chipping around the base.  The sugar lid has a very small dent on the inside rim.
