    Description

    This is an interesting old ink box or scholars box, Ming period, blue and white.  It think it is missing levels, because the pictures on the side don't match up with anything.  It may have had 3 levels at one time, but now it is only one level.  Still pretty interesting.  Condition is very good, with one tiny chip on the underside of top.  Can barely see from side,( see pencil pointing to it).  Measures 4 and 1/2" wide by 3 and 1/4" tall.  Has a chop mark signature on the inside of lid.
