A lovely Richard Comyns, London, Sterling Silver & Wood Teapot made for Tiffany & Co. England. This is an individual size pot. Features Elegant wood handle and finial (replacement). The teapot has two inscriptions, "Mr. Pope" on the front and "Presh and Petunk" on the back. Good antique condition, there is wear and a chip to wood handle, wood finial appears to be a replacement, there is light tarnish and surface scratches - see photos. Measure approx. 7.25"h x 6.5"w from spout to handle end. Weighs: 420 grams (14.8 ounces). Stamped on the bottom Tiffany & Co., England, the top is hallmarked with RC in shield for Richard Comyns, Lion passant for Sterling, assay mark for London, date letter O for 1929. A wonderful piece for the sterling collector!
