Antique Signed Chinese Fish Hand-Carved Fish Wedding Bucket Box -Sewing?

Description

A fine old and unusual antique Chinese wood carved lidded box...signed on bottom. The top is half-lidded and the box has a tulip shape construction. Floral cut-away with red stain and gold gilt, seated on pedestal.  Top fish whose mouth opens to the interior of the box. Fantastic cut-away on top handle.
Condition: Very good, antique. Bottom has breaks has been re-glued, showing age
commensurate
from vintage. A fantastic presence and an unusual piece.... 13.25 inches high, 14 inches across top handle, 11 inches across top lid, 7.25 inches across bottom hem. Nice piece.
