    Description

    This is a very beautiful black lacquer box. I bought it from a collector in Burgundy France. I was told it is from the end of the 19th century, but I’m not a specialist, so I can’t guarantee it. The workmanship on the lid is just amazing. It features mother of pearl inlays (maybe Abalone?).
    The lid is hinged. It is in good condition with some wear inside.
    It measures 2.5” x 1 2/8” x 7/8”. It weighs one oz.
