Antique Vintage DIETZ NEW YORK - A. NO.1 Kerosene Oil RR Lantern Lamp.
The lantern measures about 15 inches tall with the handle up, 10 1/2 inches tall with the handle down and 5 1/2inches across the bottom.  The lantern is strong and sturdy with no rusted through holes or repairs, no splits or cracks.  The thumbscrew works correctly and the wick goes up and down.
The globe measures about 6 3/4 inches tall, 3 3/8 inches across the
bottom
and 2 3/4 inches across the top - no cracks or large chips on the globe.  The globe is embossed at the top GIX.
