    Description

    Antique, The Adams & Westlake Co. Kero Railroad Lantern, D. & R. G. W. R. R. Used, not in mint condition, but in very good usable condition. Also make a great display, this is an antique. Embossed around the visor top of the globe is; “Made in U.S.A. Pat’D. Nov. 28 1911, Apr. 1 1913, May 9 1922. Cañada 1921, 1923 Pats. Pending.” And embossed around the top of the vent is; The Adams & Westlake Co. Chicago . Elkhart . New York . Adlake No. 250 KERO. D. & R. G. W. R. R. Printed on the glass globe is; D. & R. G. W. R. R. And embossed on the other side of the glass globe is; Adlake kero and in print directly behind or under this embossing is; SAFETY FIRST. and above that looks like an embossed capital letter ‘C’ with the letters ‘NX’ within the C. The lantern is in very good condition. The globe seems to be the original and is in perfect condition. There is an wick, and the wick key works very well adjusting the height of the wick. The metal frame is all in original fullness, not damaged. There is some rust and discoloration, wear from aging and some of the lettering and words are faded or worn from age. But overall this is an very great piece of American railroad and lighting history. We only ship within the 48 Continental United States of America.
