Vintage Tray Woven Reeds with Wood Dividers
Trimmed in Bamboo "Shanghai Handicrafts"
This divided tray is intricately woven in two colors of reeds with curved sides and corners.  The
dividers are wood. It has bamboo supports on the bottom and little feet at the end of each support.
Each support with feet is carved from a single piece of bamboo. Little brass round top nails hold
the wood dividers in place. The tray is rectangular in shape  and the dimensions are 9" by 12"
and about 1.5" deep.
On the bottom is the original label stating that it was made by "Shanghai Handicrafts" in the
People's Republic of China.  The identification is in Chinese and in English.  This dates the item
to the time before so many things were made for export to the USA and are simply marked Made
in China.  "Shanghai Handicrafts" is a internationally recognized label denoting quality products.  The
workmanship is excellent and the tray is in very good condition.  The tray would make a good
organizer.
