    Description

    A magnificent 6 piece sterling silver Coffee and Tea Service made in Germany in 1970 by Bruckmann und Sohne of Heilbronn, who were Germany's premier silversmiths from 1805 until 1973, and silvermiths to the German court.  Hallmarked with the Crescent Moon and Crown for sterling, 925 pure with the German Eagle hallmark for Bruckmann.
    My parents were in the Foreign Service and this was used at the American Embassy in Helsinki, Finland when my dad was minister and acting ambassador.
    The set is in fine condition, weighing a massive 2345g in total.  There are 6 pieces, with a creamer and sugar bowl for each pot.
    The teapot measures 8 3/8 inches tall, 11 inches wide spout to handle, and 6 1/2 inches wide at the body.  It weighs 659g.
    The coffee pot measures 10 1/8 inches tall, 10 1/4 wide spout to handle, and 5 3/4 inches wide at the body.  It weighs 705g.
    The 2 sugar bowls each measure 5 5/8 inches tall by 5 inches wide.  One weighs 284g and the other 288g.
    The 2 milk jugs each measure 4 3/8 inches high, 5 1/2 inches wide lip to handle, and 3 1/2 inches wide at the body.  One weighs 203g and the other 206g.
    Condition:  In fine, bright condition, with just one tiny impression to the surface of the coffee pot that is so small it was difficult to photograph.  It is just to the right of the reflection of my hand in the second to last photo (no. 11).  This set is in nearly new, mint condition.
    Each pot comes with a custom made cosy in midnight blue fabric that I ordered three or four years ago but have never used.  Each of the 6 pieces also comes in a custom made tarnish proof zippered cloth storage bag.
    I have perfect feedback and offer a no hassle return policy within 3 days if you are not satisfied.  I treat people on eBay the way I like to be treated.  Shipping is by Priority Mail, tracked and insured, but you are responsible for the cost of return the same way and in the same condition.
