BURLINGTON ROUTE , Handlan Buck Railroad Lantern

Description

This lantern is completely original. It came out of St Louis & was used in that area. It does have some pitting but still very strong & stands very straight. There is a minor pinhole on the top & 4 minor pinholes on the bottom of locking rim, but does not effect the font & does hold oil. The brass locking ring is in tact but needs adjustment. The Adlake burner doesn't function. The Globe is clear, has no cracks but does have some straw marks & minor flea bites on top & bottom. It displays a strong strike in a panel All in all, this is a great lantern that shows actual railroad use !
