Making its debut during the reign of Queen Victoria, Buttercup sterling silverware by Gorham is an excellent example of the Greco-Roman applied art popular during the period. Produced from 1899 to around 1950, the charming Buttercup design features an intricate design of buttercups, scrolls, and leaves. This Set is the GORHAM ✧ BUTTERCUP ✧ STERLING SILVER TEASET + 8 PLACE SETTING, LION-ANCHOR- G 1899 NO MONOGRAMS TEAPOT ✧ SUGAR✧ CREAMER ✧ 8 PLACE FLATWARE SETTING ✧ and EXTRAS with LION-ANCHOR-G This set has the Rare !!! Tea set including the Teapot, Creamer, & Open Sugar and then there is the Complete set of Oldest Flatware for 8 Plus Extras, they have NO Monograms, and it are in Very Fine Condition. There are these pieces, They are the older pieces and include: 1) Teapot / Hollowware ( 4-1/2" high, 992L 2-1/4" Pints Lion-Anchor-G) 1) Sugar Bowl / Hollowware ( 2-3/8" 982 Lion-Anchor-G) 1) Creamer / Hollowware ( 3" 983 Lion-Anchor-G ) 8) Dinner Forks ( the Hard to Find Long Tine 7-1/2" ) 8) Salad Forks ( 6-3/8" Individual ) 8) Dinner Knives ( No Serrate ) 8) Teaspoons ( these just have Sterling with a P ) 8) Iced Teaspoons The Flatware weighs 2157 total grams. They are in Great Condition, there are some Very Very minor usage and age scratches. { My Photos are part of my Description so please blow them up and see what you will be getting, I know they aren't Great, but Silver is SO HARD to get good Photos, let me know if I have missed something } They come from a smoke free home & has been polished and cleaned, and is Shiny and Great.
