Offering a stunning and extremely scarce pair of Carl Thieme, large
Pekingese dog figurines
.  Excellent overall condition and considering the age, outstanding.  Typical of these large, dense Carl Thieme
Potschappel factory pieces, there are a few very fine firing creases
,
generally
following the deeper mold lines. no impact to the stability and virtually impossible to see unless examining the pieces very closely (see last four photos).  Other than these slight firing inclusions, both are in near pristine condition with no other cracks, chips, crazing or stains.  As a set, these pieces d
isplays amazingly well.  Soft colors with detailed embellishments and a nice, high sheen glaze.
