    Description

    I have just acquired 4 circa 1890's German steins, none ever having a cover.  This is an interesting example because it shows two firefighters on either side with Art Nouveau graceful leaves flanking, and in the center is this statement in German: "THE FIRE DEPARTMENT FULL OF COURAGE, THEY PUT OUT EVERY EMBER".  There is one more Fire Fighter stein in different pattern also listed. It is a 1/2 liter stein, no nicks or chips, no cracks or repairs.  The height is approx 7".  The base is impressed Germany, with a numeral or monogram imprint. Check out my OTHER ITEMS/SELLER STORE.
