CHINESE CLOISONNE TOBACCO JAR FLOWERS TRINKET BOX YELLOW GROUND

Description

This is a fantastic older Chinese Cloisonne Tobacco Jar that stands 3 1/8” tall and measures It is 3 1/8” in diameter. The background is a repetitive brass diaper “T” pattern, and half circle top/bottom (cloisons) with stylized floral(flowers) design. Inside and bottom is one sold blue/teal color.
The enamel colors include shades of blue, cinnabar, green, pink, teal, and white. All done on a mustard yellow enamel ground.
You will find areas of enamel loss, oxidation to the metal with pitting, pitting in the enamel, surface scratches, discoloration of the enamel, old dust/dirt, and tiny bit of slumping. Rims are a bit out of round. Cover/lid fits loosely. Please use your zoom for close ups of my pictures.
