Description

Vintage Chinese Picture Woman Sitting Red Velvet Matte Wood Frame.  Approx 13-3/4" X 16-3/4" frame.  There are a few areas of a brown color on the bench, small stools, and stand.  There is some yellow on the flowers, the vase, the womans hair piece, on the outline of her clothing, the rug on which she sits.  There is a blue hue in the back.  The velvet was probably a lot more red at one point, has lost some color/faded.  Some areas on the red velvet are a little darker, some lighter areas.  There are a few small spots or dots near the top of the print and the side.  The wood frame has some scuffs, scratches, nicks, dings, color fade/loss in areas.  The backing is mostly intact with a tear near the top, small punch hole near the bottom, and some staining.  All are shown in pictures.  The picture may or may not be signed under the velvet or on the back.  There is another black backing paper under the brown.  In looking at the paper the picture is on very closely there is visible texture to the paper and can see some fibers in the paper.   This beautiful picture is sold as is.
