Chinese Qing to Republic Famille Rose Porcelain Cricket Cage Ladies & Children

Chinese Late Qing to Republic period oblong form porcelain cricket cage decorated in famille rose enamels with children and ladies in outdoor settings.  The lid is decorated with flowers and has two double-coin openwork vent holes.
Late 19th to early 20th century.  4 7/8
” long x 2 7/16" wide.  There is an old repair to the edge of the lid on one corner and there is an associated faint old brown hairline at the top of one side.  The overglaze pigments are rubbed and worn.  From the collection of a former American expatriate to China from 1983-1987.
