Description
Conquistador Sterling Silver Coffee Server / Coffee Pot. Conquistador was a silver manufacturer started by Horacio de la Parra. By 1949, the firm was owned by Axel Leonard Wenner-Gren who proceeded to build the company into one of the largest silver manufacturers in Mexico, mostly by buying or merging with existing silver companies. The company was headquartered at Guillermo Prieto, No. 77, in Mexico City. At one point Conquistador produced items marked for William Spratling and for Hector Aguilar.
