An exact replica of the hand-made costume ears worn by the original Mouseketeers on the 1950s TV show. Luckily for us, the Walt Disney Studio kept an original example in its Archives that we could copy - a slightly worn cap with a cloth tag inside bearing the name of Cubby O'Brien! There is an elastic string that goes under the chin to keep the hat from tumbling off your head during those big tap-dance numbers! (Cubby's hat still showed signs of fleshtone makeup on the chin string!). Andrew Wen, from Master Replicas, worked with the manufacturer to get the details right, such as the wire hoops inside the felt ears, as well as the embroidered emblem patch, which is a pretty near perfect match of the original. Master Replicas designed the display stand. Signed by Kevin Kidney and 1 Other (Not sure I remember who) on the inside lid and on the stand.
