Description
This lovely Adam Period Neoclassical sterling teapot was made in London in 1791 by Thomas Graham and Jacob Willis. It is cartouche shape in plan with reeded sides that are beautifully decorated with bright cut floral garland and swags along with lunette borders and ribbon crested central escutcheons (one blank and on with armorial crest). This piece is in remarkably fine condition with no dents, scratches or damage of any sort. The lid fits tight, and the boxwood loop handle and finial are original.It is 11.25" from spout tip to the outside of the handle and is 4 1/8" deep and 6" tall. It weighs a total of 414.2 grams.
