This listing is for a lovely English Sterling Silver 3-piece coffee set made by The Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co. Ltd. in London, c. 1930. This is an extremely heavy set with lovely engraved decoration in bands around the upper rim, shoulder area and upper edge of base. Also decorated with an engraved design around the upper base, a rope band around top of base, an applied decoration below spout on creamer and on the finial top of coffee pot. No monograms. The lid has a tight hinge and opens and closes correctly. Marked on base with the trademark stamp and name "The Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co. Ltd.. 112 Regent Street. W." with English hallmarks for London, Sterling and date letter for 1930.
Set consists of:
Coffee Pot - Measures 9" high, 8 3/4" wide (spout to handle) with a 3 1/2" diameter base. Weighs 770 grams.
Creamer - Measures 4 1/4" high (to top of pot), 4 1/2" wide with a 2 1/2" diameter base. Weighs 260 grams.
Sugar - Measures 2 1/2" high (to top of bowl), 6 3/4" wide (handle to handle) with a 4 3/8" diameter base.  Weighs 300 grams.

This great coffee set is in very good to excellent Estate condition with no major dents, dings or repairs. There is a very faint dent (barely noticed) in the rounded body of the coffee pot and a small no-harm ding on the reverse side. Overall, the set reflects only minor signs of normal wear.
