Very fine antique sterling silver black coffee / demitasse pot.
Dominick & Haff Silver Company, NY, circa 19th century.
Dominick & Haff
was an American silver manufacturer based in New York City. It was co-founded by Henry Blanchard Dominick and Leroy B. Haff in 1872, incorporated in 1889, and it closed down in 1928
Marked under the base with Dominick & Haff maker's mark, Howard & Co retailer's mark, STERLING 185A
.
Ebonized wood handle.

About 7 1/2 in. (19 cm) high.
WEIGHT
About 10.5 troy oz. (328 grams).
CONDITION:
Very good original antique condition with light charming indication of age. Maybe a couple of very minor expected dings, some light normal scratches. Very (VERY!) minor play to wooden handle.
NEVER WAS POLISHED ON POLISHING WHEEL - DETAILS ARE CRISP.
Beautiful original monogram under the base (not deep and can be removed).
VERY DIFFICULT TO PHOTOGRAPH ITEM - ALL DARK SPOTS THAT APPEAR IN THE PICTURES IS JUST A REFLECTION AND LIGHT TARNISHING.
