Fine Antique CHINESE ENAMEL SILVER PILL BOX-Multicolored-NR

Description

For sale is a fine Chinese silver pill box with enamel decoration.  The box measures 1 ½ inches by 1 ¼ inches and is about 3/8 inch thick.  The lid has an engraved peony and a butterfly with green enamel surround.  The sides have geometric designs covered in panels of different colored enamels.  The interior is lightly gilded.  The box is marked with a horse, [MADE IN CHINA] and [SILVER] (upside down).
Condition on the box is fairly good.  There are minor losses to the enamels and normal wear from use.  A neat piece!
