    Description

    Chinese figural peach covered box with etched and hand painted design depicting tree, leaves, and rock formations with applied ox bone peaches on branches all over red lacquer ground next to 2 cranes.  Black lacquer interior. Late Qing Dyansty to Republic period.  Measures 4 1/4 inch height (10.7 cm) x 11 inch length (27.9 cm) x 11 1/2 inch width (29.21 cm). Total weight of 1232 grams or 2.12lbs.
