We recently acquired a large collection of Franciscan Ware from a local estate.
The husband and wife bought their first Desert Rose pattern dishware in the late 1940s when they married, and continued to add pieces over the next five or so years.
They are now moving and downsizing their collection, so we have the opportunity to make this single-owner dinnerware available to you!
Whether you grew up with Desert Rose Franciscan Ware, or collect and enjoy using it now, you know you’ve come across a special listing with these original vintage Desert Rose bread & butter plates.  We have a quantity of these plates to offer; you may buy one or all.
These small bread & butter plates measures 6 3/8” in diameter and are a cream ground with a hand-painted green stem border with desert roses in bloom.
The quality of these designs varied according to the skill of each artist and the year of their production, but this group is beautifully done!
The plates are in very good antique condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs and only some very minor surface abrasions typical of limited and careful use.
