    Description

Listing is for a gorgeous Franciscan "October" pattern Dinner Plate 10 5/8”. No chips / cracks / crazing...nice and shiny. Has the Franciscan back-stamp / bug.  (Same plate is .99 in Replacements.com). Not an estate find, from the original owner. Crafted right here in the USA. The fall colors set a beautiful fall table, and would be nice for Thanksgiving or other fall gatherings or use as every day china.  Oven safe...dishwasher safe...microwave safe.  As you are aware, the retired "October" pattern is one of the most sought after Franciscan patterns.  Pictures are from the actual Franciscan set Dinner Plate, and not a glossy website, which is illegal without permission from Franciscan. Pictures have not been enhanced or re-formatted and were taken with my iPhone 8+.
The skinny? Franciscan Ware is an American Dinnerware Tradition.  The October pattern features beautiful hand painted autumn leaves of orange, tan, & silvery-green on a cream background with dark brown trim. Franciscan "October" started production in 1977 and was discontinued in 1984. All Franciscan patterns (including October) were produced in Glendale, California until 1984...with production moving to England. Today? All Franciscan patterns are produced in China.  Two patterns, Franciscan Apple and Franciscan Desert Rose are the only continuously produced patterns that remain in production today. The October pattern is retired.
I get nauseous when I see inflated shipping costs on EBAY.  Shipping should not be a profit center.  Sellers who do not understand this should be publicly tarred and feathered. With this in mind, shipping is a flat .50 via USPS to anywhere in the United States, and I will get back to you via EBAY with the USPS tracking number.  Will be packed / shipped as fragile of course.  Nervous about fragile?  No need...I have shipped 19th century fragile antiquities valued at ,000+ without issue.  This item is a walk in the park.
I have been on EBAY since 2002 and have 1,500+ Positive Feed-backs. This did not happen by accident of course over the past 19 years. In short, you can trust me.  No returns, nor will you have a need to.  I do not ship outside the United States.
