You have mastered Latte Art Basics... you can do a Heart, a Rosetta, and a Tulip. Yet, your partner and your friends are easily distracted by your skills. Up the ante and have them riveted to your every move by pouring out of a Georg Jensen classic coffee set. It is fun for everyone to make a good looking drink out of a classic Georg Jensen Cosmos set.
Here is our offering. A vintage George Jensen Cosmos Coffee Pot (45A), Tea Pot (45C) and Sugar and Creamer (45C). Ebony handle on both Coffee and Tea pot as well as Creamer. Cosmos was originally designed by Johan Rohde. Coffee pot measures 9.25”.

Cosmos is best described as having a Linen-fold motif at bottom. Covers are raised with engraved paterae and ball finials with half lobing. Handles are stained wood with carved flutes and silver mounts. Top mount terminates in trefoil tendril with central volute scroll.
An early design conceived by Johan Rohde in 1915. Examples are illustrated on pages 218 and 221 in Janet Drucker’s GeorgJensen: A Tradition of Splendid Silver (1997).
All four items are in excellent condition and are NOT engraved. Tea pot has insurance markings on the bottom of the pot as well as on the inside of the lid. Simply gorgeous. Small scratches on the underside of each piece consistent with normal wear. Coffee pot has some minor scratches on the inside, consistent with being used for Coffee and cleaned. No discoloration of any kind on the outside of each piece.
