    Description

    American Colonial Revival sterling silver 3-piece coffee set. Retailed by Georg Jensen USA in New York, ca 1950. This set comprises coffeepot, creamer, and sugar. Coffeepot: Truncated cone body, molded and double-domed hinged cover with stained-wood finial, and molded base. Capped stained-wood handle with scrolled silver mounts, and faceted gently-scrolled spout with scalloped mount. Creamer: Baluster with faceted lip spout, capped double-scroll handle, and spread and reeded foot. Sugar: Curved sides and spread and reeded foot; cover gently domed with open and flared round finial.
    Traditional and substantial. Stylistically compatible with a Modern décor. Each piece fully marked with retailer's stamp, phrase "Reproduction / Circa 1720", and no. 1255.
