GORHAM Aesthetic Sterling COFFEE POT Paisley Theodore Starr 22oz

Description

An aesthetic sterling silver hand hammered after dinner coffee pot by Gorham with a paisley design with Indian and Egyptian influence.  The lid is hinged.   Height 11 1/4"; Weight 22.50 troy oz. There are two smooth areas on the lower section of the pot under the decoration (one on each side) where the hammering has been disturbed either from a monogram removal or where a dent was removed (see pictures.)  otherwise the pot is in very good condition with no dents. The handle is tight.  Marked lion, anchor, G, sterling B58, date letter + for 1886.
