A rare Gorham sterling silver tea caddy with a pull off lid and a foo dog finial. Hand engraved detail and applied silver bar in a curve on one side with blossoms.

ate 1873.
Height 5 1/4" at the finial.  Good condition. It has been buffed.  Any black marks are reflections from the camera lens.
