Up for this auction is a Mixed Media Composition, a
HAND CARVED SCULPTURE OF A MOREL MUSHROOM COMBINED WITH A COLD CAST RESIN FAIRY, & A SIGNED WOODEN RABBIT NETSUKE.
THE MUSHROOM IS CARVED OF PINE WOOD, SIGNED & DATED BY MASTER WOODWORKERS, JERRY & SUE BAKER, 2008.
THE WOODEN NETSUKE RABBIT & THE CARVED MUSHROOM ARE FROM OUR COLLECTION OF HAND MADE ITEMS.
This beautifully handcrafted effigy of a whimsical dancing fairy frollicking atop the mossy mound of her Fairy House.  The object of her attention is a massive morel mushroom, a hand carved treasure to be sure.  Imagine the carved wooden image as an actual mushroom, unique in its shape & texture, while the fanciful fairy frisks about.
The PINE wood itself is almost alive as it stands proudly in the small forest glen.  Most types of wood surprise turners & carvers with characteristic color changes, fractures, & splits that appear as the artist turns the wood on the lathe or uses various woodcarving tools to simulate reality.
This beautiful mixed media composition, handmade by CC's DESIGNS, from a PINE wood sculpted morel mushroom by MASTER CARVERS, Jerry & Sue Baker in 2008, a hand carved RABBIT NETSUKE signed by the artist, polymer clay mini mushrooms, & other forest findings would be an incomparable gift to give any friend who loves to cook, especially sauteed mushrooms.  It would also look great in a small nook in any room, especially the kitchen, among books in a bookcase, atop a desk, or under a small lamp on a side table.

CONDITION
Many of my items are vintage & fairly aged; accordingly, there may be some issues with individual pieces that are associated with the passage of time.
Each piece is gently used & may exhibit minor glitter loss and/or paint anomalies due to the vintage quality of the item.
I have looked each of them over to detect any major flaws Any serious damage, fading or discoloration that I can perceive will be disclosed; however small flaws (i.e. imperfections in the glaze/paint, a slipped stitch, etc.) may be missed.
ALL OF MY COLLECTIONS HAVE BEEN STORED IN A TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT IN OUR SMOKE-FREE, PET-FRIENDLY HOME.
