HARD-TO-FIND Vintage Imperial "CAPE COD" Crystal CELERY DISH!

Description

Up for sale is a difficult to find vintage crystal celery dish in the “Cape Cod” pattern by Imperial Glass!  Imperial started making the Cape Cod pattern in 1932, and it’s one of their most collectible patterns.  The diamond pointed band around the top and the shapes in the glass really catch and reflect the light beautifully!  The glass is nice and shiny bright – no stains, utensil scratches, oxidation, or other marks whatsoever, and there are no chips or cracks.  It stands on a polished ground rim, and there's a crisp starburst in the bottom that gives it extra glitter.  It measures 11 inches long by 5 inches wide, and it stands just a smidge less than 2 inches high.  There are a few very tiny nicks around the ground rim that could very easily be smoothed out - otherwise it's immaculate!  It's absolutely guaranteed to be vintage – not reproduction or new glass.  Photos of the Cape Cod pattern can be found in Coe's "Elegant Glass - Early, Depression & Beyond", or in Gene Florence’s “Elegant Glassware of the Depression Era”, where this celery dish is shown for .00.  I have other pieces of the Cape Cod pattern for sale in other auctions, so be sure to take a look!  The winner will pay shipping and insurance (insurance is included automatically in the shipping calculator as a “handling fee” unless otherwise requested).  Shipping will be combined for the buyer of more than one item whenever practical.  Shipping is normally within 24 hours after receipt of PayPal payment (if other payment options are desired, please don’t hesitate to inquire). Please feel free to e-mail any other questions or requests for additional photos, and thanks very much for looking!!
