Description

A sterling silver kettle on stand with burner in the Queen Anne style, each piece hallmarked for Birmingham 1924 with maker's mark EJG in a shield (Ellis & Co--Ellis Jacob Greenberg), the kettle is also marked on the bottom STERLING ENGLAND 4 and is monogrammed in script "FLD", it has a composite grip on the swing handle with double C scroll sides, the kettle nestles into the stand which has three double scroll bracketed legs on cushion feet with original burner, about 13 inches high with extended handle, kettle is 7 7/8" high to finial, 47.02 troy ounces gross weight, well-used, the mark and monogram on the pot softened from polishing, with some shallow removable dents but basically in good condition without breaks or repairs.  TWSCR
