Antique C. 1920 Chinese Bovine Bone & Bamboo Dovetailed Mahjong Set With Walnut Wooden 5 Drawer Case
This is incredibly very good looking and handmade Victorian Mahjong set. This  set is complete with a brass handled, handmade, walnut, wooden carry case, and all the original tiles are in place plus all the games counters, blank tiles etc. Three small die in a hand carved bamboo holder. Very unique and rare! One tray has had 4 tiles replaced in 1990. This is noted in pictures!
This is a highly collectable set that would make a great gift. You can see the age and quality of the set by the thickness of the tile and how well carved the joint is on the tile. The bamboo takes up approximately 55% of the tile space, on the lesser sets its 80-90% bamboo, also this has a high quality hand carved dovetail joint.
